The export of Kuban wine products increased by almost 25% in 2021

Governor Veniamin Kondratiev told the journalists about the geographic growth and increase of deliveries of Kuban wine as part of the national project «International cooperation and export».

«Today Kuban wines are in demand all over Russia and abroad. To grow exports, we make annual investments in the development of viticulture and wine-making. Last year, we applied about 614 million roubles from the federal and regional budgets, part of which was also spent on planting and handling young plants. As a result, our enterprises managed to increase the supplies by 25% and exported almost 523,000 decalitres of the products,» said Veniamin Kondratiev.

According to the regional Ministry of Agriculture and Food Processing Industries, in 2021 the actual cost of export deliveries of wine amounted to 693.7 million roubles.

The number of importing countries increased from 16 to 30 over the last year. The products were imported to Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, Germany, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, China, Latvia, Mongolia, Norway, Slovenia, USA, Uganda, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, Estonia, and Japan.
