Over 12.2 billion rubles invested in Krasnodar Region’s industrial sector development

Krasnodarstat reported that companies invested more than 12.2 billion rubles in industrial production during the first quarter of 2025.

«Compared to the same period last year, investment in expanding and launching manufacturing facilities rose by 13 percent. Some sectors saw much stronger growth: investments in companies focused on machinery repair and equipment installation jumped nearly fivefold, machine-building companies attracted 2.6 times more capital, and the pulp and paper industry saw a 1.8-fold increase. Investments in pharmaceutical manufacturing, leather goods, and construction materials increased by 20–30 percent,» said Vice-Governor Alexander Ruppel.

He also noted that currently, 35 projects are being implemented in the industrial production sectors, with a total cost of 1.2 trillion rubles. This accounts for one-third of the region’s entire investment portfolio. By the end of 2024, industry ranked among the top three sectors of the region’s economy by investment volume, which reached approximately 66 billion rubles — a 39.5% increase over 2023.
