The Russian retailer «Magnit» will launch a pilot project on arrangement of product delivery in Krasnodar in 2019, as reported by the Press-Service of the company.
«Broniboy» company which specializes on the delivery of food from restaurants will become a partner of «Magnit» in Krasnodar. One could place an order via a web-application.
The service will be tested within the scope of establishing an omnichannel ecosystem which includes the development of e-commerce and own payment service. The transition to omnichannel model is a part of a five-year strategy of «Magnit» adopted in August 2018.
The cost of delivery of products from «Magnit» for consumers will be 99 rubles. The tentative time for delivery – one hour, weight limitations – 7-8 kilos. The geography of orders will be limited by a radius of 3 km from each of the hypermarkets participating in the pilot project. For two-three months the authors of the service plan to reach a target of 200 orders per day.
