The Krasnodar Region exported more than 90,000 tons of oilseeds in the first quarter of 2025. This was reported by Interfax, citing the Novorossiysk branch of the Federal Center for Agro-Industrial Complex Quality Assessment.
Flax seeds dominated the exports, totaling 73,800 tons. Four countries purchased this crop: China, Turkey, Israel, and Bangladesh. Mustard seeds, amounting to 7,400 tons, were shipped to Bangladesh and India.
Seven countries imported coriander fruits, with a total volume of 9,500 tons, including India, Indonesia, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. Safflower seeds, amounting to 2,800 tons, were supplied to Turkey, the Philippines, and the UAE.
By the end of 2024, oilseed exports from the ports of the Krasnodar Region reached 420,000 tons, a 30% increase compared to 2023.
