Krasnodar Territory enterprises have signed preliminary export contracts with Egyptian companies for $1 million, said Ilya Shakalov, general director of the Krasnodar Territory Development Fund.
Some of the agreements and letters of intent that were concluded at the strategic business mission of the Russian regions. They are related to industrial and technological equipment, innovations in waste recycling and utilization, agricultural machinery, animal and poultry feed, and bioresources. Kuban is planned to supply Egypt with about 500 tons of mixed fodder per month.
The Krasnodar Regional Development Fund signed a memorandum with the Egyptian SADAT Group of Companies on plans to create a joint Russian-Egyptian company specialized in trade with Russian regions. It is expected that this company will become the operator of the Trade House of Russian regions in Egypt, and the Krasnodar Territory will be the pilot region.
