Krasnodar Region launches amaranth flour exports to UAE in 2025

In 2025, the Krasnodar Region initiated the export of amaranth flour to the UAE and milk thistle seeds to India. This information was reported by Interfax, citing the Novorossiysk branch of the Grain Quality Assessment Centre.

Enterprises have already contributed a total of 10 tonnes of flour and 52 tonnes of seeds.

In addition, in the summer of 2025, Kuban launched exports of soybean hull pellets to Lebanon, with 3,000 tonnes of this product already shipped. Prior to this, lentils, chickpeas, barley, corn, and wheat were also supplied to Lebanon.

According to the centre, between January and September 2025, more than 19 million tonnes of cereals and legumes were exported through the ports of the Krasnodar Region. All consignments underwent safety and quality checks.
