The meeting with the Iranian delegation was held by Mikhail Zaritsky, the Acting Minister of Resorts, Tourism and Olympic Heritage of the Krasnodar Territory.
As part of the agenda, representatives of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Crafts of Iran, the chairman of the tourism cooperative of the republic, as well as the heads of more than a dozen tour operators visited the Krasnodar Territory.
The conversation was about the development of mutual tourist flows, as well as the start of a new flight route Tehran – Sochi – Tehran. One of the Iranian airline companies showed interest in working in this field.
«We enjoy working with Iranian tourists. We respect the values and traditions of our guests, build customized tour packages, offer a special menu in line with guests’ preferences,» said Mikhail Zaritsky.
The head of the department also spoke about formation of turnkey travel packages. These include air travel, transfers, accommodation and excursion services as per the Iranian guests' ideas about comfort.
Seven companies from the Krasnodar Territory have been chosen to work within the framework of the intergovernmental agreement on visa-free travel for organized tourist groups from Iran. About 2,300 Iranian agencies that are ready to offer their tourists trips to Russia can act as our partners.
During the visit to the Krasnodar Territory, the Iranian delegation visited the largest hotels in Sochi, the main attractions of the city, and entertainment facilities — Sochi Park, casino, and the Adler trout fishery.
