In 2021 Krasnodar region intends to supply for export around 450 thousand decalitres of winery products

Veniamin Kondratyev commented on the plans for implementation of the national project «International cooperation and export» to journalists from the Federal mass media agencies. 

The Chief of the region noted that for the last five years Krasnodar region has been ranking third in Russia in terms of the supply volumes of agro-industrial complex products. Meanwhile, Kuban transits from export of raw materials to export of finished products. One of the highly claimed products is wine.  

– Last year, regardless the coronaviral pandemic, Kuban enterprises preserved foreign sales markets of winery products – that is more than 16 countries across the globe. The export volume made almost 420 thousand decalitres of wine and champagne. In 2021 our task is to strengthen collaboration and increase supplies up to, at least, 450 thousand decalitres, as noted Veniamin Kondratyev.

Semisweet wines of Kuban producers are of demand with near abroad countries. Dry wines are of demand with countries of Europe and China. Champagne is basically supplied to CIS countries, Estonia and Switzerland, as specified in the regional Ministry of Agriculture.  

14 enterprises of winery industry of Kuban are now operating for export. The leading among them are «Soyz-Wine», «Abrau-Dyurso» and «Phanagoria». In aggregate, they produced almost 90% of the entire export products.
