Exports of Kuban agricultural products to Africa in 2023 exceeded $235.5 million

Supplies of Kuban agricultural products to African countries in 2023 exceeded USD 235.5 million. This was reported in the regional Ministry of Agriculture with reference to the deputy governor of the region Andrei Korobka.

As the Vice-Governor noted, the Krasnodar Territory has been fostering trade relations with African countries for many years. Kuban producers export a lot of products to Africa. The largest volumes of agricultural products are sent to Kenya, Libya, Egypt, Senegal, Algeria. First of all, these are grain crops.

Since the beginning of 2023, their exports to African countries have exceeded USD 224.7 million. In addition, beverages, oil and fat products, and ready-made meals are exported in small volumes.

«In general, this year, we have shipped products worth $235.5 million to 22 countries in Africa. We have resources to increase supplies, and upon request, we are ready to increase export volumes to these countries,» commented Mr. Korobka.
